L.D Austin, TX

Hey guys, so our last ministry week is over. I was sick a couple days last week but I still got to spend some time with my kids. They are so amazing and it was a blessing to see their love for Father. I was able to talk to a few people this week and build some relationships. My kids met a few boys playing soccer and really got to mentor them throughout the week. Last night was our final session together and we had the Lord's Supper.I prayed over each of my students, comissioning them as they go back home. I loved being able to pray with them and share how they have impacted my life during the week. I am going to miss all of my kids as I go home. I am also going to be so sad to be leaving the other 25 interns. We have become good friends, and it is going to be hard going home and nobody being able to relate to how we have been transformed these past two months. Pr for us as we go home, to truly take what we have learned here and realize home is our m field now. I love y'all and can't wait to see you next week. Thanks for all of the pr's and support :)

LJ, Garland Tx

Yesterday was amazing. The picnic went well, and it was nice to spend time with the teams and with the interns and with the locals. G and M came to say good bye, and it was sad having to leave, but it was a good time. I got to hear their stories and they were amazing. I love all the people I have met here, and it's strange to think that this is my last entry. I sit here in the hostel, alone typing this post card, and i dunno... i am going to miss this-- i am excited to know that God has something HUGE in store for me.

Peace

Ljo

DM Buffalo, TX.

Hey everyone! I just thought I would let you know that you have a new brother! His name is D, the same D I have been blogging about. Yeah, today he said that he believed since the last time that I met him. he did not know the day. K did not show up today, but that is in His plan. Please PR that K will come tomorrow, and also D and his new walk. Alright, gotta go. I would write more if I could! Tschuss!

KA Frankston,TX

Hey this has been an amazing week!!! God has shown himself to me in amazing ways. He rocks!!!!

GT Granbury, TX

today was good again. I met with A and talked more about her becoming a new believer. She was really excited. She said that she prayed for the first time to the Real God last night and it made her happy inside! She loves that there is always someone there with her. She is His and I thank Him for that! I PR that she will have a smooth transition from Me to the long term staff. Praise Him!!

ARK-Amarillo, TX

Things are going so well! I got to share my story with a girl today and it was so amazing. The Kingdom has been expanded by two more today! Praise the Lord! He is doing some amazing things here and I can't wait to see what else He has in store for us the rest of this summer! Keep praying! See you all in less than a week!

JMR- Cooper TX

today was agian, hot and then it rained and it made it humid and sticky, fun. anyways the more important thing is that we had a girl accept christ today! her friend is really close so please pray for her, 'A.' i will see you soon!!! ;) love ya XOXO

Lin-Lubbock, TX

Today was pretty good. "D" and I did not get to meet with our Texan friend today. Maybe they will come tomorrow- please pray for that! "M" got to share with a couple of guys, so that was cool. We once again did A LOT of plowing. Please pray for strength-it is unbelievably hot. Not many people like to come out when it is this hot. Also, please pray for the big picnic tomorrow night. Pray for smooth handoff between the long-term and the short-term team members. Also, please pray for our three new brothers and sisters in Christ, as of yesterday and today! This is a tender time in their faith. Praise the Father for His expanded Kingdom!

SC Purcell

We PR walked more today. Please pray that my team isn't discouraged and that we will have more opportunities to share with people tomorrow.

LJ, Garland, TX

Today I led the white team, b/c the beautiful LD was sick :(. PR for her! I know her team misses her!! I had a good day today, watching the students engage the German culture! I really enjoyed pr walking and watching specific prayers being answered. This team is on fire, and I really like spending time with them! Father is showing me so much, I have a sinus infection, and I think God slowed me down this week for a reason, he's truly revealing so much of my heart to me and it's exciting. I haven't really gotten to speak with S about next summer yet, so PR that I will get to do that soon

Hey everyone! Today was awesome. At first, everyone was really fighting against discouragement because we spent the first four hours of the day prayer-walking again. The students would approach everyone they saw and try to engage in conversation and people either didn't speak English, or weren't interested in talking with us. There aren't even that many people to begin with. However, the students were faithful to plow!

The Lord definitely blessed that effort and we got to meet many people at the very end of the day. Please pray that the same people will come back tomorrow that we can talk with them more. We met one guy who is a believer, he speaks excellent English, and he actually tried to share some Christian material with us before we even got to share with him. If he comes back, he could help us translate. "D" and I got to meet some girls. One is actually from Texas and is here visiting her extended family for the summer. They all have Ethiopian hetitage and we will meet with them tomorrow (hopefully) and they will teach us some Ahmaric. That is a huge answered prayer for me. Please pray that they come back. I love you all!

I am on the Orange Team, if you are interested in keeping up with their reports, too.

Today was one of the most richest Praise GOD days this summer. Leading the team at the university has changed my heart and has grown me so much. The father has been so good. These kids are so excited to be joining the Father at work and they all "got it". They have been so obedient to his voice. Today one of the JSI interns were able to lead someone to the Lord! I was so blessed to see God work and bring salvation in his timing, it was perfect. See you all soon. -Tony

It was fun to hang out with M and her friends. It was definitely a different experience. I'm glad they are all open and comfortable talking to us. i'm looking forward to sharing more with them in the next 2 days.

This day was awesome. We got to meet alot of people that were willing to teach us about German culture and allowed us to tell them about our culture. Please pr that we can have someone come to know him this week on our site and on other sites. I really miss al of you and can't wait to see you. Love you.

JMR- Cooper TX

hey guys! it's been tough for me the past couple of days. it's been so hot and i've been a little tired. so that causes me to not be 'there' during the day. so please pray that i will be able to stay focused tomorrow and that i can meet someone and be able to share my faith. love ya! XOXO

Hey! Things are going well out at our site. God is doing some amazing things there. I am excited to see what is going to come from the relationships already started. Please pray that we can share our stories and that my team has the boldness and courage to share their stories. I miss you all and can't wait to see you! One week! Love you all!

GT Granbury, TX

Praise God! today I was given the oppertunity to lead someone to Christ. It was a girl that I met a few weeks back through a team member. thank you for all your prayers!!

SC Purcell, Ok

We spent most of our day PR walking again, but God blessed us with the opportunity to meet some people at the end of the night. We made plans to meet them again tomorrow. Please pray we would be able to share wtih them tomorrow and also pray that there will be more people out that speak English. And also pray that my team does not become discouraged!

L.J Garland TX

I sit here at Tower Park watching the students engage in community with the kids and students. Many of the guys on this team are currently playing soccer with some kids. As they play I hear one of the German boys "David" across the field. I'm finally able to pick out which boy is David and as I see he is probably around the age of 13, I am reminded of what we were taught about this morning- David and Gloiath. My prayer is that this kid David follows Father and will follow so hard after him that he can defeat the enemy and Father can draw more to him through this one child- I have faith... I have to.

Hey all! Wow my group was exceeded my expectations all the way today. They all stepped out and had a conversation with students and locals at the University. My prayer is that I will be able to lead from the front and letting others lead. Thoughts of home are creeping in my mind more and more often. Pray that I would be able to set my sight on this week and these kids. They are such a blessing unto my life. Tschoos!

L.J Garland TX

Today, I travaled and spent time in Dusseldorf. It was neat to see the teams prepare themselves through prayer and then step out of their comfort zones and begin to get into conversations with the locals. I always enjoy going to Dusseldorf because they have the biggest japanse population in Europe. I cannot wait to see what the father does through the teams here! I had a great talk and time of prayer walking with "N" from the iGO office today, I loved what Father showed me! Tommorow S from HB comes!

G-Dawg! G-Town, TX

Today was good. My team really plugged in and connected with Germans today. I am meting with A tomorrow, please Pr for her soul. She is close.

Today was super cool. We did A LOT of plowing today. We also saw a lot of specific prayers answered. The Father is SO faithful. Some of the students got to share their stories today and set up meetings for later in the week. Pray that the Father softens people's hearts to the truth. Pray for strength and endurance for the interns and the one-week teams. I can't ask you enough to pray, pray, pray.

Caleb is my hero! He is the coolest JSI EVER!! well besides Tara... :) Someone should give this guy a raise. Hi Mom!

Today was really good. We did more PR walking and some of my team was able to share their story with others. I was able to get into conversation, but not spiritual conversation, so pray that tomorrow I will be able to have spiritual conversation with someone.

TMcD- Lubbock

Today I went to T.P. (or what I like to call M.P) it was a really good day to be back there and seeing some people that I met last summer. I went over to the cafe in the middle of the park and saw a lady that I talked to a lot last summer and that was really good. I also got to talk to a girl, J, and we talked a lil about church and she liked to talk about Christmas so we got to talk to her a lil bit through that. We are hoping to see her again at the pic nic on thursday. We talked to another woman for about 2 hours and that was really good too.

JK - Larkspur, CO

Today was very good as my team really picked up a little bit in getting to go out and actually try to talk to people. I don't think they liked the plowing a for a long period of time, but they talked to tons of people today and what they thought about religion and beliefs, and they got to share what we believe as well. I got to do my part as well with a guy. Thanks for your prayers.

TW, Garland, TX

Today was an awesome day! The whole team was eager to meet people, however; everyone the majority of people they talked to spoke no english and only a few spoke english...the park was also very dead today...please pray that more people come tomorrow and that they are english speakers...basically for divine appointments! I love you and miss you and will see u in a week!

T.P. Thibodaux, LA

Well 9 more days until I step foot into Louisiana. It is a battle staying focused and leading the teams. I would have to say that this summer has ruined me for God. I can't go back to what I used to do.
Hey today was the first time I was able to lead a team. God has been telling me, "are you ready to totally pour yourself out?" My team has dove head first into prayer walking and has done a geat job, I pray that they would step out and meet people today. My 40 day Jihad in Germany is almost over!

Please Pray

Please pray for me. I am tired, exhausted, weary and ready to be home, yet I long to be obedient and make the most of every opportunity. Please pray that I would fall in love with the father's glory and allow him to truly satisfy me.

GT Granbury,TX

Another team came in today. We Pr walked and learned how to Pr for Big Things! I am really excited about the things that He has planned for this week.

LJ, Garland TEXAS!!!!!!!

I know I havn't typed and actually Je is typing it. TOday i went with the Bonn teams...obviously it was a day of PR walking and I loved it. It was so great to spent time with the students and trek leaders and to hear their hearts begin to break for the natoins. It is also really cool for me to see JE (who was on my SSG team last year and is now an intern- and I actually wrote this, she didn't add this)anyway it's cool to see how much this girls has grown. It really gives me joy to see her grow so much- all the interns. The theme seemed to be PRing against the enemy today. Tomorrow the teams are going to be faced with so many converstations. ALREADY through PR walking the students have met people from previous weeks, and others who simply want to know what ehy are doin. PR for the Bonn teams and Dad I deserve 5 exta euro for writing this blog!

L.D. Austin, TX

Hey ya'll.. today was a great day. It was my first day out with my team today. I am leading 11 high school and college kids. We all pr walked today from about 12:30 to 6. They had positive attitudes and kept focus majority of the time. I love being able to lead them and allowing God to show me his grace and love through each new group. Keep praying! I love ya'll.

JE,Buffalo, Tx

Hey Cats!

Today was amazing. My team is totally psycho, but a good psycho. They are psycho in love with Father and it was so exciting to see them grow in their prayers. Today they really were stretched by prayer walking for 50 billion hours. It was really cool to see the process of their hearts being broken for the nations. LJ joined us later in the afternoon, and it was cool to see them just welcome her as if she were a member of the team (she is a floater), they really poured out their heart and were not intimidated by basically the coolest person ever. haha jk. she's not THAT cool.

But hi, el heffe!

WB Baytown, TX

We got a team in and we pr walked all day and got to share with each other. We also ate at a new place today that seemed like a communist restauraunt. It had wierd pics all over the place. Tomorrow we get to plow and it should be alot of fun.

Today we went prayer walking. It's amazing to think back to the first time I did it and see how much I've learned and grown. As I was out God gave me more passion and excitement for my site. Please pray for me as I lead this week.

Lin-Lubbock, TX

Today I was with a one-week team. We spent the day prayer walking. It amazes me how I ever went with just these 5 second prayers before meals. That's just not the way it works. It is incredible to learn these spiritual disciplines. Why have I not learned this before? Who taught me it was sufficient to read scripture for 5 minutes and pray for 2 before bed in order to KNOW Christ? I don't know...I can't wait to come home and apply everything I've learned. I'm looking forward to the remainder of this week. I can't believe the summer is almost over...

Hey well we just got our last team in. Plaeas pray for energy for the teams and us as well. Also we need prayers for us to be BOLD and just trust Him when He talks and gives us specific things to do.

TMcD- Lubbock

Well today was a day of plowing. It was really good being back in the M area and seeing familiar faces. I cant wait to see what this week has for us and the people we are going to meet. Today the prayer walking went really well and I can already feel the Father working not only in the parks but with our team. I enjoy our new team and it was good getting to know everyone today. Pr that we would continue to be focused and listen to what the Father has for us, that we would be completely obedient and live a life of RIO (radical immediate obedience) this week. "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1 also we met a guy today that everyone on the team had seen at one point or another throughout the day and had been praying for...he asked us to do Bible study with him and we told him we have church in the park everyday so we told him we are reading in Acts and he may join us for s.c. sometime this week.

Hey ya'll.. sorry I havn't typed up a blog in a while. Last week we had a team and it was truly amazing. I got to lead a team with ten students and they were such a blessing. All of the interns worked really hard this week and havn't had much down time. God is wonderful and we now have a few new brother and sisters in Him, He is answering prayers here! I love you all so much and will be home in a few weeks. God has changed me and showed me how I need to serve him faithfully for the rest of my life. Thank you for your prayers and support! :)

LJ, Garland, Tx

Hey. I obviously have not made many posts. I know many of you are dissapointed because last year I made a post almost daily. So, what is so different about this year, right? Practically everything! By the time I find time to even write on here, I have too much going through my mind i don't feel i have the ability to write a decent post.

It is truly evident that Father is doing something huge in this place...
It is truly evident God is doing something in my heart...

What God is doing though is evident, but at the same time a mystery. It's easy to get confused, it's even easy to lose focus. It's easy to get annoyed with yes, God. It's easy to sit here and constantly wonder why I have been brought back to this place. It's so easy to get upset about the smallest things and keep it inside until it builds up and I begin to cry. It's so easy to lie about the reasons i'm crying... and blame it on fatigue. While, yes, fatigue is part of it... and it's SO easy to get lost in all of this and make the summer about myself.

I had a good conversation that is apparently not over.. and is to be continued with one of the coolest people I know, and God is truly working on my heart for the nations. Yes i am still in a state of confusion, yes I am still wondering why about many things... but overall I have come and MUST come to the realization that this is all about God and not myself, and if he isn't calling me to the m-field i must embrace that, and if he is calling me.. i too, must embrace that as well...

too much thinking, really..

JE- Buffalo, TX

Hey everyone whats up. sorry its been a few days since i have posted, we get done very late around here and i don't really have time to post because i need sleep. the past few days have been amazing. we have met some really open people and had to opp to share our stories several times. my team is so amazing. after SC i don't even have time to tell them what time to be back and they are already leaving to go PR walk. they truely seek out His face and His will for them. i got to meet a girl from south africa yesterday and she only lives about an hour from N. she is here doing the babysitting thing for like a year. so she said she just really wants to talk to some people that speak english. i think she is already my sister but just PR that if she not that i can witness to her and if she is that i can feed into her. PLEASE PR for our whole team. there is spiritual warfare going on here and he is attacking hard. we are on the devils most wanted list, and i believe that that is right where we want to be...

AT Columbus, MS--doc news

I had my doctor visit today and got the results from my x-ray and MRI. Good news, nothing is visibly wrong with my knee. The ACL is fine, nothing is torn. This is quite frustrating, because I was kinda hoping SOMETHING would be wrong if I had to leave. The doc said that I have very messed up/inflammed/damaged cartilage. No surgery is needed because that would make my knee weaker. I went straigt from the doctor to PT. My left knee has only half the strength of my right. Not good. I'm on a bigger anti-imflammatory and a vitamin to rebuild the cartilage. I have physical therapy for a while, until I go back to school. Its a good thing I came home, because it only would have gotten worse. Please continue praying. They told me not to use crutches any more, which hurts ALOT. I'm still in alot of pain, but I'm trusting my docs and of course the Main Man, so I have nothing to worry about. I miss you all and I hate that I'm not with you all. I am still praying diligently.

Today there weren't a lot of people out at the park, but a teammate and I were able to talk to some Jehova's Witnesses and share what we believe. Please pray that my team doesn't become discouraged by the lack of people willing to talk to them and please pray that God will give us some more opportunities to share.

TMcD, Lubbock Tx

Today Jenn and I were swinging on a bench talking about life and this man came and sat down next to us. We ended up talking to him for about an hour and found out he is a Christian based on waht he says he believes. We also both got to share our faith with him. We talked about church and he shared what church was to him. We told him we had church at the park everyday-- so we invited him to join us tomorrow... So we are going to be reading John 1-3, talking about it tomorrow during Church.

AT Columbus, MS--At home finally

I miss you all! I wanted to let everyone know that I am home, safe and sound. I got home (in Columbus, MS) around 12:30 CDT, so about 25 hours after I woke up with y'all. The airport staff was very helpful and got me carted sround in a nice little wheel chair at all of my stops. On my long flight (CGN to ERK) I ended up sitting by a wonderful Christian couple from Los Angeles. God is good. I have an appointment for an MRI in a few hours and then I will talk with the doctor first thing in the morning. My knee did not appreciate being cramped up in an airplane all day yesterday, but it is doing a little better today. I will get you another update as soon as I get some information. Just because I am in the States does NOT mean that I am not praying hard for my team. I love and miss you all, and I hope your day went well today!

Today was a good day at St. Gereon's! God is answering our prayers continuously. I am excited to see what is in store for the rest of the week. I had an amazing opportunity to meet some college aged students who are from England and are living right across the street from our park. I am excited and hope that I am able to meet up with them again this week. Pray for girls to come to our park and pray that God will be exalted at our park!

I have a great team! God has blessed these kids with such a great passions for m work. Six college students asked me to help them film a movie for them for their class at the University. I got to share my culture with them and hear about them. All of my kids were able to talk to people today. We all p.r walked, and I had an amazing day. God is showing me many things this summer. I am going to continue to glorify His name and hope to make an impact here! Love ya'll.

Today He made me desparate. I finally got tired and frustrated enough that I had to rely completely on HIM. it was wonderful. Through that admission of weakness, He was able to use me to make two new contacts.

SOOO it has been a long time since I have posted, I know, but this has been a HECTIC week! My team is in Dusseldorf, which is out of town about 30 minutes by train. We have to get here an hour earlier so pray for sleep to be multiplied! We are also in a park that has never been an OTA before, so please pray that we can quickly build relationships, or if God wants us to simply plow this entire time that our team doesn't get discouraged but realize they are only a part of God's ancient work! I love you guys so much and miss you even more! XOXO
